2009 could no longer keep Luke Schulthess away from the sounds coming from the basement. Just as short as the way to the basement was the way out on the national stage. With their great live energy and their enthusiasm the five musicians from Baden build their national reputation and attracted a lot of attention.
The band kept their lightness and their music matured quickly. In autumn 2011, Al Pride published their debut «Hello Blue Light». From a «migrant-production», which was recorded in two different cellars and in the room of the producer Lars Christen, came out an album highly praised by the press and critics, and whose songs immediately captured the national radio and television stations.
In November 2012, the band went back to work for four months with Lars Christian and Luk Zimmermann (Lunik) on their second studio album. «Another Color» is more mature, bigger, more in- tense. Clever, multifaceted pop, which captivates the audience and barely lets it go. Al Pride has decided to think out of the box and explore creations outside of the musical field.
