Ay Wing - Fortunes

Ay Wing - Fortunes. "only chance to get it right: ten minutes, between night and day". The live video for the track was recorded in the heart of the Swiss mountains, atop a pontoon in Lake Seelisberg. Ay Wing collaborated with a handful of visual and audio artists to create and record the live music video where night slowly turns into day. “There were roughly ten minutes to capture the subtle, ethereal metamorphosis from dawn into daybreak. The entire crew had to be quick,” says filmmaker Steve Glashier.
In order to make that happen, eleven people were required to act in unison, move together like the water flowing beneath them to facilitate, and experience, such a magical moment. Though challenging, utilizing the limited ten minutes that would later become a condensed, live, one shot take, was crucial. The result? Four minutes of transience using simple sounds albeit challenging production that speaks for the dynamism, creativity, and collaborative efforts of every person involved.
