Due to the actual situation and protests in the U.S.A. I decided to postpone the release of my solo album "I woke up like this" to fall 2020 and release
"American Dream" instead. I decided to do so to show my solidarity with the colored community and against social injustice. This album is a so-called concept album about the "other-America" I experienced; The good, hard working people, the artists, the dreamers... I personally still believe in the "American Dream", that everything is possible if you work hard on it. And I also think that the actual political situation, means, the presidency of Mr. Trump, is not just a sad joke... No, it's a drama that is about to destroy everything I believed in. And I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this way. We need to face and stand against the social injustice, the racism and the malpractice of law empowerment happening day by day.

But lately some of my kinfolks have disowned a few others and me.
I guess it's because I kind of changed my direction.

Over and over everybody met my predictions.
So if I get stoned, I'm just carrying on an old family tradition.

I' m not very proud of my daddy's name
Because my style of living and his ain't exactly the same.
Stop and think it over. Put yourself in my position.
If I get stoned and sing all night long it's a family tradition.

If I'm down in a honky-tonk some ole slick's trying to give me friction.

Lord I have loved some ladies and I have loved Amphetamines
They both tried to kill me, back in 2003.
When that doctor asked me, Son how did you get in this condition?
I said, hey sawbones, I'm just carrying on an ole family tradition.

An when I came to school I started up some trouble soon and a teacher asked me:
“Why are you armed?! Came to school?!” And I said: “Well, it's in my genes, not my fault, not my bad...”
“Fuck you!” That's what grandpa said!
